Shawn and I were in Chicago in June for the American Librarians’ Association conference (! for his graphic novels), and we went to the Aquarium on our last day before we flew out that evening.
She stayed like that for probably….

I still don’t really have words for what, exactly, though.
But I will say: it was one of the most special things I got to enjoy in 2023.
For many of us, this year, 2023, has been….quite …. something...to put it nicely.
